Heute war wohl wirklich der letzte schöne Sommertag (siehe Foto ganz unten). Nachdem ich mir heute Mittag noch bei 27 Grad einen kleinen Sonnenbrand geholt habe stürmt jetzt am Abend vor meinen Fenstern der Regen und es ist fast 15 Grad kälter. Außerdem habe ich heute die ersten Kastanien gefunden. Sie wollen mir einreden dass der Herbst nicht so schlecht ist wie sein Ruf. Ich bleibe skeptisch.
Today was really the last day of summer (as you can see on the photo at the bottom). While I got a little sunburn at 27°C at noon I can hear the rain tapping at my windows and the temperature has dropped to 12°C. Also I have found the first chestnuts today. They are telling me that fall is not that bad after all. Well, I am having some doubts about that.
