Neulich war ich Brad Pitt, und das ging so: Eine gute Freundin feierte ihren 30.Geburtstag und wollte dass wir als Celebrity verkleidet zu ihrer Party kommen. Eine Freundin war auch eingeladen, und wir dachten gemeinsam nach. Außer Sonny und Cher hatten wir keine zündende Idee, außerdem lief uns die Zeit davon. Bis jemand von uns beiden meinte „Brangelina!“ und wir uns an die Verwandlungsarbeit machten.
1. Via Google Bildersuche ein hochauflösendes Foto (ideal: Portrait) des Stars finden, in dem er/sie möglichst direkt in die Kamera blickt. Dieses Foto herunterladen.

2. In einem Bildbearbeitungsprogramm das Bild so zurechtschneiden, dass es von den Haarspitzen oben bis zum Kinn ca. DIN A 4 hochkant entspricht. Probeausdruck in schwarz weiß machen und es sich vor das Gesicht halten. Checken, ob die Proportionen stimmen. Weder ein „Bubblehead“- noch ein Zwergenkopfeindruck sind erwünscht.
3. Wenn es gut aussieht, auf dem Probeausdruck die Gesichtskonturen und die Konturen der Haare ausschneiden sowie die Pupillen. Nochmals testen, ob auch der Augenabstand stimmt. Kann man durchsehen? Stimmt die Frisur? Wenn nein, im Photoshop Skalierung ändern und erneut probedrucken.

4. Wenn alles stimmt auf Fotopapier hochauflösend in Farbe ausdrucken. Dann Konturen und Pupillen ausschneiden. Die Masken auf Karton kleben (zum Verstärken) und nochmals ausschneiden.
5. Einen dünnen Holzstecken auf der Rückseite mit starkem Klebeband festkleben.
6. Bilder der 6 Kinder im Internet finden, ausdrucken und wahlweise in die Hosentasche stecken (Brad) oder auf eine Halskette auffädeln (Angelina).
7. Fertig. Du bist jetzt ein Star!
Recently I transformed into Brad Pitt. Here is why: A good friend threw a party for her 30th birthday and wanted us to dress up as celebrities. A friend was also invited, and we started brainstorming. But apart from Sonny and Cher we did not come up with anything interesting and we were running out of time. Suddenly one of us said „Brangelina!“ and we started preparing our transformation.
1. Find a high resolution picture of your celebrity (ideally a portrait), where he/she looks directly into the camera. Download this photo.
2. Use an image editor to crop the photo, so it fits a sheet of paper (formats: ISO A4 or standard letter size of your country) from top of hair to chin. Print black and white and hold in front of your face. See if it fits. You should neither look as if you have a bubblehead or are a dwarf.
3. Cut the paper on the edges of the face and the hair and the pupils. Try again. Is the distance between the eyes correct so you can see through? And how is the hair-do? If it does not fit go back to your image editor, change the size and do another test print.
4. If everything works, make a coluor print on photo paper in high resolution. Cut the edges of the faces and the pupils like the test print above. Glue the mask on a stiff paper/ thin cardboard for stability. Cut the edges again.
5. Use a very sticky tape (something like duct tape) to fix a long wooden stick to the back of your mask.
6. Find photos of Brangelina’s 6 children and print them. Carry them with you in your pants pocket (Brad) or on a necklace (Angelina).
7. You are ready to be a star!
