Be Creative #322

Das Thema des heutigen Illustration Friday ist „Vanity“/“Eitelkeit“. Nachdem ich einige Ideen mit Spiegelbildern, Narziss und so weiter gewälzt habe ist mir das für mich naheliegendste eingefallen: Das Internet. Es ist der Ort wo man sich spiegelt, die Plattform auf der um Anerkennung gebuhlt wird, wo es um die Anzahl der „Gefällt mir“ Klicks geht. Natürlich geht es im Internet noch um ganz viele andere Dinge, aber die Selbstdarstellung ist ein großer Teil davon. Und da nehme ich mich gar nicht aus. (Ihr könnt mich übrigens hier auf Facebook befreunden ;-)

This weeks topic for Illustration Friday is „Vanity“. After thinking about some ideas with mirrors, Narcissus and so on I suddenly thought of the most obvious topic: the internet. It is the place where people reflect themselves, it is a platform for gaining attention, it is the place where the number of „likes“ you get is important. Of course the internet is a vast place for all kind of other things, but the need for self-expression is a big part of it. And I am no exception. (You can find me here on Facebook ;-)
